Acupuncture is a medical system that has been used to diagnose, treat and prevent illness for over 2000 years. It is thought to have originated in China and has its roots in ancient Taoist traditions. At HAC, we combine this ancient tradition with current day research and scientific understanding of how Acupuncture affects the body. Modern Acupuncture is performed by inserting fine needles into specific points along the body that has been shown to locally relieve pain, relieve muscle tension, move fascia, and globally effect how the brain both functions and interprets bodily signals.

Tansy Briggs is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. With over 20 years of experience in Fertility, Pregnancy, Postpartum, Perimenopause, Menopause, Chronic Diseases and Pain, she utilizes the best of traditional, natural and modern medicine approaches to improve your health.

Tansy completed her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) degree through Pacific College of Health and Science in 2018. She is nationally certified as a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine (Dipl.OM) by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) since 2001 when she obtained her MSOM from Southwest Acupuncture College.

Vashni Nilon is a licensed acupuncturist with a deep appreciation for Western medicine and a passion for integrative care. She specializes in supporting male and female fertility, treating patients undergoing assisted reproductive treatments as well as those trying to conceive naturally.
